सुन्दरकाण्ड
Sundarkand
Sundarkand is the fifth book of Tulsidas's Ramcharitmanas — the chapter of Hanuman's mighty leap to Lanka, his meeting with Mother Sita in the Ashok Vatika, and the burning of the demon city. It is the only kanda named not after Rama's story but for the beauty of its hero's devotion. Recited in full on Tuesdays and Saturdays, it is treasured as a remover of obstacles, fear and despair. The complete text is presented here in ten parts with Hindi and English meaning.
