Disclaimer
Last updated: [Date]
This page sets out the disclaimers that apply to your use of adiveda.in (the “Site”), its editorial content, the Adiveda Bookshop, and any consultation or remedial guidance offered by Adiveda. Please read it carefully — by using the Site you agree to these terms.
1. Informational purpose only
All content on the Site — articles, journal entries, cosmic tales, book recommendations, social-media posts, podcast episodes, and any written summaries — is published for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not, and is not intended to be, a substitute for professional advice from a qualified expert. You should not act, or refrain from acting, in reliance on anything you read on the Site without first consulting a suitable professional.
2. Astrological and spiritual content
Adiveda offers reflections and guidance rooted in classical Vedic astrology (Jyotisha) and allied traditions. We respect the depth of those traditions and present them in good faith, but:
- Astrological readings, dasha analysis, muhurta calculations, and remedial measures (upaya) are interpretive in nature. They draw on classical texts, lived practice, and the practitioner’s judgment.
- Adiveda does not make predictions or guarantees about future events, financial outcomes, relationships, careers, lifespan, illness, recovery, the success of any venture, or the result of any competition, examination, election, court matter, medical procedure, or business decision.
- Any insight shared in an Adiveda consultation or article should be received as one informed perspective — to be weighed alongside your own judgment and the advice of qualified professionals.
- Vedic remedies (gemstones, rudraksha, mantras, charity, conduct) are recommended in accordance with classical practice. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial interventions and they do not replace any of them.
If you believe an astrological insight or remedial practice has improved your life, that is a personal experience for which we are grateful. We make no clinical or causal claim about that improvement.
3. Not medical advice
Nothing on the Site constitutes medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Site does not establish a doctor-patient relationship. If you are experiencing symptoms of any physical or mental-health condition, are pregnant, are managing a chronic illness, are considering changes to any medication, or are in crisis, please consult a qualified medical professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
In particular:
- Information about gemstones, rudraksha, mantras, fasting, dietary advice, breathing practice, or any other traditional remedy is shared as traditional cultural knowledge, not as a medical recommendation.
- Do not stop, start, or modify any medication on the basis of anything published on the Site.
If you or someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts or a mental-health crisis in India, you can reach iCall at +91 9152987821, Vandrevala Foundation at 1860-2662-345, or Aasra at +91 9820466726. Outside India, please contact your local crisis line.
4. Not financial, legal, or professional advice
Articles or comments on the Site may touch on the financial, legal, business, professional, or career implications of astrological transits. These references are purely illustrative. Adiveda is not a registered investment adviser, financial planner, tax adviser, chartered accountant, lawyer, or career counsellor. Always consult a suitably qualified, licensed professional before making any financial, legal, tax, business, or career decision.
Adiveda is not liable for any decision you make in reliance on content published on the Site.
5. Accuracy and updates
We try hard to publish accurate and up-to-date information. Even so:
- Errors may slip through, and tradition often presents multiple views on the same subject.
- The Site reflects our editorial understanding at the time of publication and may not reflect later scholarship, textual variants, or changes in classical interpretation.
- Where Sanskrit or Hindi text is transliterated into Roman characters, simplifications may be made for readability.
If you spot an error or wish to suggest a correction, please write to contact@adiveda.in — we are grateful for thoughtful feedback.
6. Third-party content, products, and links
The Site links to third-party sites (most often Amazon) and references third-party books, products, services, and platforms. Adiveda does not endorse, and is not responsible for, any third-party content, product, or service. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that third party. Please see our Affiliate Disclosure for details of our affiliate relationships.
7. Testimonials and outcomes
Where the Site features client testimonials, those represent the experience of the individual client at a particular point in time. Outcomes are not typical and are not guaranteed. Your own experience of a consultation or a remedial practice may differ.
8. No professional relationship created
Accessing the Site or signing up for the journal does not create any professional, fiduciary, doctor-patient, attorney-client, or other privileged relationship between you and Adiveda. A consultation creates only the relationship described in the consultation agreement provided to you at the time of booking.
9. Force majeure
Adiveda is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, civil unrest, sabotage, government action, internet or power outage, or third-party service failures.
10. Limitation of liability
This Disclaimer should be read together with the limitation of liability set out in our Terms of Use, which is incorporated here by reference. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adiveda is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of your use of, or reliance on, the Site, the Bookshop, any consultation, or any content published by Adiveda.
11. Changes
We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. The “Last updated” date above tells you when it was last revised. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Disclaimer.
12. Contact
If you have questions about this Disclaimer or anything on the Site, please write to contact@adiveda.in.
