1. Vishnu Mula Mantra

ॐ नमो नारायणाय ॥

oṃ namo nārāyaṇāya ॥

Om Namo Narayanaya

ॐ, नारायण को नमन — विष्णु का मूल (अष्टाक्षर) मन्त्र।

Om, salutations to Narayana — the root (eight-syllable) mantra of Vishnu.

2. Vasudeva Dwadashakshari Mantra

3. Vishnu Gayatri Mantra

ॐ श्रीविष्णवे च विद्महे वासुदेवाय धीमहि ।
तन्नो विष्णुः प्रचोदयात् ॥

oṃ śrīviṣṇave ca vidmahe vāsudevāya dhīmahi । / tanno viṣṇuḥ pracodayāt ॥

Om Shrivishnave Cha Vidmahe Vasudevaya Dhimahi Tanno Vishnuh Prachodayat

हम श्रीविष्णु को जानें, वासुदेव का ध्यान करें; वे विष्णु हमें (सन्मार्ग में) प्रेरित करें।

May we know Shri-Vishnu, may we meditate on Vasudeva; may Vishnu inspire us.

4. Vishnu Dhyana Shloka (Shantakaram)

शान्ताकारं भुजगशयनं पद्मनाभं सुरेशं
विश्वाधारं गगनसदृशं मेघवर्णं शुभाङ्गम् ।
लक्ष्मीकान्तं कमलनयनं योगिभिर्ध्यानगम्यं
वन्दे विष्णुं भवभयहरं सर्वलोकैकनाथम् ॥

śāntākāraṃ bhujagaśayanaṃ padmanābhaṃ sureśaṃ / viśvādhāraṃ gaganasadṛśaṃ meghavarṇaṃ śubhāṅgam । / lakṣmīkāntaṃ kamalanayanaṃ yogibhirdhyānagamyaṃ / vande viṣṇuṃ bhavabhayaharaṃ sarvalokaikanātham ॥

Shantakaram Bhujagashayanam Padmanabham Suresham Vishvadharam Gaganasadrisham Meghavarnam Shubhangam Lakshmikantam Kamalanayanam Yogibhirdhyanagamyam Vande Vishnum Bhavabhayaharam Sarvalokaikanatham

शान्त-स्वरूप, शेषनाग-शय्या पर शयन करने वाले, पद्मनाभ, देवेश्वर, विश्व के आधार, आकाश-सदृश व्यापक, मेघवर्ण, शुभ-अंग, लक्ष्मीकान्त, कमलनयन, योगियों द्वारा ध्यान में प्राप्य, भव-भय हरने वाले, सर्वलोकों के एकमात्र नाथ विष्णु को मैं वन्दना करता हूँ।

I bow to Vishnu — of serene form, reclining on the serpent, lotus-naveled, lord of gods, support of the universe, vast as the sky, cloud-hued, of auspicious limbs, beloved of Lakshmi, lotus-eyed, reached by yogis in meditation, remover of the fear of existence, the one Lord of all worlds.

5. Vishnu Mangala Mantra

मङ्गलं भगवान् विष्णुर्मङ्गलं गरुडध्वजः ।
मङ्गलं पुण्डरीकाक्षो मङ्गलायतनो हरिः ॥

maṅgalaṃ bhagavān viṣṇurmaṅgalaṃ garuḍadhvajaḥ । / maṅgalaṃ puṇḍarīkākṣo maṅgalāyatano hariḥ ॥

Mangalam Bhagavan Vishnurmangalam Garudadhvajah Mangalam Pundarikaksho Mangalayatano Harih

भगवान विष्णु मंगलमय हैं, गरुड़ध्वज मंगलमय हैं; पुण्डरीकाक्ष (कमल-नयन) मंगलमय हैं, हरि समस्त मंगल के धाम हैं।

Auspicious is Lord Vishnu, auspicious the Garuda-bannered; auspicious the lotus-eyed — Hari, the very abode of all auspiciousness.
