Shri Ganesh (Ganapati)

गणेश मन्त्र

Ganesh Mantra

Vedic Ganapati Mantra from Rigveda 2.23.1; Nirvighna shloka is a classical Sanskrit prayer.

Three essential Ganesh mantras: the ancient Vedic mantra identifying Ganapati as lord of all hosts and prayers; the Ganesh beej mantra (Gam) for daily japa; and the famous Vakratunda shloka recited at the start of any auspicious undertaking to remove obstacles. Ganesh is traditionally invoked first before all other deities.
