pitu mātu sahāyaka svāmī sakhā,
tuma hī eka nātha hamāre ho।

Pitu matu sahayak swami sakha,
Tum hi ek nath hamare ho |

Father, mother, helper, master and friend — You alone are our one Lord.

jinake kucha aura ādhāra nahīṃ,
tinake tuma hī rakhavāre ho।

Jinke kuchh aur adhar nahin,
Tinke tum hi rakhware ho |

Those who have no other support — of them You alone are the protector.

saba bhām̐ti sadā sukhadāyaka ho,
duḥkha durguṇa nāśana hāre ho।

Sab bhanti sada sukhdayak ho,
Dukh durgun nashan hare ho |

In every way You are ever the giver of joy, the destroyer of sorrows and vices.

pratipāla karo sigare jaga ko,
atiśaya karuṇā ura dhāre ho।

Pratipal karo sigre jag ko,
Atishay karuna ur dhare ho |

You sustain the whole world, holding boundless compassion in Your heart.

bhuli haiṃ hama to tumako,
tuma to hamarī sudhi nāhiṃ bisāre ho।

Bhuli hain ham to tumko,
Tum to hamri sudhi nahin bisare ho |

Though we forget You, You never let go the remembrance of us.

upakārana ko kachu anta nahīṃ,
china hī china jo vistāre ho।

Upkaran ko kachhu ant nahin,
Chhin hi chhin jo vistare ho |

There is no end to Your benefactions, which You expand moment by moment.

mahārāja mahā mahimā tumharī,
mujhase birale budhavāre ho।

Maharaj maha mahima tumhri,
Mujhse birle budhware ho |

O great king, great is Your glory; rare indeed are the wise who truly fathom it.

śubha śānti niketana premanidhi,
mana mandira ke ujiyāre ho।

Shubh shanti niketan premnidhi,
Man mandir ke ujiyare ho |

Abode of auspicious peace, treasure of love, the light of the temple of the mind.

isa jīvana ke tuma jīvana ho,
ina prāṇana ke tuma pyāre ho।

Is jivan ke tum jivan ho,
In pranan ke tum pyare ho |

You are the life of this life, the beloved of these life-breaths.

tuma soṃ prabhu pāya 'pratāpa' hari,
kehi ke aba aura sahāre ho।

Tum son prabhu pay 'Pratap' Hari,
Kehi ke ab aur sahare ho |

Having found You, O Lord Hari — says Pratap — whose other support could one now seek?
