बारम्बार प्रणाम (अन्नपूर्णा आरती)

बारम्बार प्रणाम, मैया बारम्बार प्रणाम।
जो नहीं ध्यावे तुम्हें अम्बिके, कहां उसे विश्राम।
अन्नपूर्णा देवी नाम तिहारे, लेते होत सब काम॥

bārambāra praṇāma, maiyā bārambāra praṇāma।
jo nahīṃ dhyāve tumheṃ ambike, kahāṃ use viśrāma।
annapūrṇā devī nāma tihāre, lete hota saba kāma॥

बारम्बार प्रणाम, मैया बारम्बार प्रणाम जो नहीं ध्यावे तुम्हें अम्बिके, कहां उसे विश्राम अन्नपूर्णा देवी नाम तिहारे, लेते होत सब काम

हे मैया! आपको बारम्बार प्रणाम; हे अम्बिके! जो आपका ध्यान नहीं करता, उसे विश्राम कहाँ? हे अन्नपूर्णा देवी! आपका नाम लेते ही सब काम बन जाते हैं।

Again and again I bow, O Mother, again and again I bow! For one who does not meditate on You, O Ambika, where is there any rest? Your name is Annapurna Devi — by uttering it all tasks are accomplished.

प्रलय युगान्तर और जन्मान्तर, कालान्तर तक नाम।
सुर सुरों की रचना करती, कहाँ कृष्ण कहाँ राम॥

pralaya yugāntara aura janmāntara, kālāntara taka nāma।
sura suroṃ kī racanā karatī, kahām̐ kṛṣṇa kahām̐ rāma॥

प्रलय युगान्तर और जन्मान्तर, कालान्तर तक नाम सुर सुरों की रचना करती, कहाँ कृष्ण कहाँ राम

प्रलय, युगान्तर, जन्मान्तर और कालान्तर तक आपका नाम रहता है; देवों और सुरों की रचना आप ही करती हैं — (आपके आगे) कहाँ कृष्ण, कहाँ राम!

Through dissolution, the turning of ages, the cycle of births and the passage of time, Your name endures; You fashion even the gods of the gods — where then would Krishna or Rama be without You?

चूमहि चरण चतुर चतुरानन, चारु चक्रधरश्याम।
चन्द्र चूड़ चन्द्रानन चाकर, शोभा लखहि ललाम॥

cūmahi caraṇa catura caturānana, cāru cakradharaśyāma।
candra cūḍa़ candrānana cākara, śobhā lakhahi lalāma॥

चूमहि चरण चतुर चतुरानन, चारु चक्रधरश्याम चन्द्र चूड़ चन्द्रानन चाकर, शोभा लखहि ललाम

चतुर चतुरानन (ब्रह्मा) आपके चरण चूमते हैं, और सुन्दर चक्रधारी श्याम भी; चन्द्रचूड (शिव) और चन्द्रानन आपके सेवक हैं और आपकी ललाम शोभा निहारते हैं।

The clever four-faced Brahma kisses Your feet, and the lovely dark discus-bearer (Vishnu); the moon-crested, moon-faced (Shiva) is Your servant — all behold Your beautiful splendour.

देवी देव दयनीय दशा में, दया दया तव नाम।
त्राहि-त्राहि शरणागत वत्सल, शरण रूप तव धाम॥

devī deva dayanīya daśā meṃ, dayā dayā tava nāma।
trāhi-trāhi śaraṇāgata vatsala, śaraṇa rūpa tava dhāma॥

देवी देव दयनीय दशा में, दया दया तव नाम त्राहि-त्राहि शरणागत वत्सल, शरण रूप तव धाम

हे देवी! देवता भी दयनीय दशा में "दया-दया" कहकर आपका नाम लेते हैं; "त्राहि-त्राहि" (पुकारते हैं) — हे शरणागतवत्सला! आपका धाम ही शरण का रूप है।

When gods and goddesses are in a piteous state, mercy, mercy is Your very name; 'save us, save us!' — O You who are tender to those who seek refuge, Your abode is itself a refuge.

श्रीं, ह्रीं, श्रद्धा, श्रीं ऐं विद्या, श्रीं क्लीं कमल काम।
कान्तिभ्रांतिमयी कांति शांतिमयी, वर देतु निष्काम॥

śrīṃ, hrīṃ, śraddhā, śrīṃ aiṃ vidyā, śrīṃ klīṃ kamala kāma।
kāntibhrāṃtimayī kāṃti śāṃtimayī, vara detu niṣkāma॥

श्रीं, ह्रीं, श्रद्धा, श्रीं ऐं विद्या, श्रीं क्लीं कमल काम कान्तिभ्रांतिमयी कांति शांतिमयी, वर देतु निष्काम

श्रीं, ह्रीं, श्रद्धा; श्रीं, ऐं, विद्या; श्रीं, क्लीं, कमल-काम (बीजरूपा आप हैं); हे कान्ति-भ्रान्तिमयी, कान्ति-शान्तिमयी! निष्काम वर दीजिए।

Shrim, Hrim, faith; Shrim Aim, knowledge; Shrim Klim, the lotus and desire — radiant and dispelling illusion, full of peace, grant the desireless boon.
