पितु मातु सहायक स्वामी सखा,
तुम ही एक नाथ हमारे हो।
pitu mātu sahāyaka svāmī sakhā,
tuma hī eka nātha hamāre ho।
पितु मातु सहायक स्वामी सखा, तुम ही एक नाथ हमारे हो
हे स्वामी! आप ही पिता, माता, सहायक और सखा हैं — एक आप ही हमारे नाथ हैं।
Father, mother, helper, master and friend — You alone are our one Lord.
जिनके कुछ और आधार नहीं,
तिनके तुम ही रखवारे हो।
jinake kucha aura ādhāra nahīṃ,
tinake tuma hī rakhavāre ho।
जिनके कुछ और आधार नहीं, तिनके तुम ही रखवारे हो
जिनका और कोई आधार नहीं, उनके रखवाले आप ही हैं।
Those who have no other support — of them You alone are the protector.
सब भाँति सदा सुखदायक हो,
दुःख निर्गुण नाशन हारे हो।
saba bhām̐ti sadā sukhadāyaka ho,
duḥkha nirguṇa nāśana hāre ho।
सब भाँति सदा सुखदायक हो, दुःख निर्गुण नाशन हारे हो
आप सब प्रकार से सदा सुख देनेवाले हैं और दुःख-दुर्गुणों का नाश करनेवाले हैं।
In every way You are ever the giver of joy, the destroyer of sorrow, O attributeless One.
प्रतिपाल करो सिगरे जग को,
अतिशय करुणा उर धारे हो।
pratipāla karo sigare jaga ko,
atiśaya karuṇā ura dhāre ho।
प्रतिपाल करो सिगरे जग को, अतिशय करुणा उर धारे हो
आप सारे जगत् का पालन करते हैं और हृदय में अपार करुणा धारण किए हैं।
You sustain the whole world, holding boundless compassion in Your heart.
भुलि हैं हम तो तुमको,
तुम तो हमरी सुधि नाहिं बिसारे हो।
bhuli haiṃ hama to tumako,
tuma to hamarī sudhi nāhiṃ bisāre ho।
भुलि हैं हम तो तुमको, तुम तो हमरी सुधि नाहिं बिसारे हो
हम तो आपको भूल जाते हैं, पर आप हमारी सुधि कभी नहीं बिसारते।
Though we forget You, You never let go the remembrance of us.
उपकारन को कछु अन्त नहीं,
छिन ही छिन जो विस्तारे हो।
upakārana ko kachu anta nahīṃ,
china hī china jo vistāre ho।
उपकारन को कछु अन्त नहीं, छिन ही छिन जो विस्तारे हो
आपके उपकारों का कोई अन्त नहीं — क्षण-क्षण आप उन्हें बढ़ाते ही जाते हैं।
There is no end to Your benefactions, which You expand moment by moment.
महाराज महा महिमा तुम्हरी,
मुझसे बिरले बुधवारे हो।
mahārāja mahā mahimā tumharī,
mujhase birale budhavāre ho।
महाराज महा महिमा तुम्हरी, मुझसे बिरले बुधवारे हो
हे महाराज! आपकी महिमा महान है; उसे समझनेवाले बुद्धिमान विरले ही हैं।
O great king, great is Your glory; rare indeed are the wise who truly fathom it.
शुभ शान्ति निकेतन प्रेमनिधि,
मन मन्दिर के उजियारे हो।

इस जीवन के तुम जीवन हो,
इन प्राणन के तुम प्यारे हो।
isa jīvana ke tuma jīvana ho,
ina prāṇana ke tuma pyāre ho।
इस जीवन के तुम जीवन हो, इन प्राणन के तुम प्यारे हो
आप ही इस जीवन के जीवन हैं और इन प्राणों के प्यारे हैं।
You are the life of this life, the beloved of these life-breaths.
तुम सों प्रभु पाय 'प्रताप' हरि,
केहि के अब और सहारे हो।
tuma soṃ prabhu pāya 'pratāpa' hari,
kehi ke aba aura sahāre ho।
तुम सों प्रभु पाय 'प्रताप' हरि, केहि के अब और सहारे हो
